Chimera

Chimeras are some of the oldest myths in the entire world, with diverse depictions between many cultures. The first example comes from the greek poem Iliad, as an unnamed creature that is "Lion fronted and snake behind, goat in the middle". The term chimera was later made as the greek root for "She-goat". Being that the definition of a chimera is simply the mixture of different animal parts, it makes it an extremely diverse myth with different types ranging from Rome to Italy. The Design from Dungeons and Dragons dropped the snake and gave it an extra dragon head with accompanying wings and tail.
