Dragons

Completely based on a myth

Dragons are one of the pillars of dungeons and DRAGONS. Because of that, they are some of the most dense and interesting lore-wise, and even more dense when it comes to the mythology it's based on, so I will try to keep this quick. In D&D, dragons are separated into a few categories, theres the true dragons, that are split into the evil chromatic dragons, and the good metallic dragons. There are also untrue dragons, that have separate pages because they are much more varied and unique. Chromatic dragons are based off of the Dracan myths from the high middle ages. They are described as Giant lizards with wings capable of breathing fire, having colors ranging from red to green. Metallic dragons are based on asian dragons that originated from China but moved into Korea and Japan. They are described as wingless, legless, snake like creatures with giant metallic scales and mustache like bristles. They possess above human intelligence and are good, wise, and humble.

red dragons are the strongest of chromatic dragons

green dragons are the mid level chromatic dragons

white dragons are the weakest of the chromatic dragons

gold dragons are the strongest metallic dragons

Bronze dragons are the mid level metallic dragons

brass dragons are the weakest of metallic dragons
