Goblins
Goblins originated in the middle ages as small, malicious, and grotesque humanoids with a greed for gold and jewelry. The word goblin was derived from the french word goblien. They are said to have mischievous powers and trickster magic, but in d&d most goblins shun this unknown art and call it booyag. The modern depictions are less hairy and have green or yellow warty skin, as well as pointed ears and noses. Their average height is around half the size of a human.
