Loosely based on Mythology
Wraiths were first conceived in early Scottish folklore. They were thought to be spirits that have recently passed on while parts of them still linger on earth. They were described as skeletal figures draped in billowing rags, usually covering their face. The word Wraith means "a wisp or faint trace of something or someone". In d&d, Wraiths are the soulless husks of people stuck in-between life and death. They seek to destroy all life and command vast hordes of specters, shadows, and night-walkers
