Manticores come from Persian mythology in 404 B.C.E, it's name translates to "Man eater" in English. Manticores are described as having a humanoid head, the body of a tiger, sharp bristles covering it's hide, large dragon-like wings, and a large spiked tail. It is said that they live in the mountains and fly down to the surface to eat, they prefer to eat humans over any other prey.
