Pegasus

Loosely based on mythology

Pegasus originated in greek mythology where a lone pegasus was the offspring of the god Poseidon. They were used as a mount by the hero Bellerophon to defeat the chimera. Pegasus was described as a pure white horse with bright wings with a twenty foot wing-span. The word Pegasus can translate to "well", "lightning", and "spring". In d&d, Pegasus are a race native to the chaotic good plane of Aborea, they are intelligent and allow good alined hero's to use them as mounts.
